Axial Monthly Digest: Deals, Announcements & Top Stories [March Edition]

Every month, Axial’s monthly digest profiles the biggest deal announcements and top stories being published by our members.

March was an exciting month over at Axial. We had 21 new buy-side members and 52 new sell-side advisory firms participating on the platform for the first time this month.

From an activity perspective, March was a BIG month for private equity firms closing on new platform investments. Axial members including One Equity Partners, Altus Capital, LLR Partners, ARC Industries, Greenbriar Equity, SFW Capital, Harbour Group and Advent International all acquired new portfolio companies.

Deal of the Month

G2VP is a technology-focused private equity firm based in Menlo Park. The 8-person firm joined Axial back in October to cover sub $100M revenue growth equity and buyout opportunities.

This past month, G2VP invested $33M into a Series C round for Fictiv, a technology company that positions itself as the Amazon Web Services for Manufacturing. Fictiv works across manufacturing plants in China and the Bay Area, covering a range of processes, including injection molding, CNC machining, 3D printing and urethane casting.
