The 10 Best Conferences to Attend in Q3

Below is a list of 10 conferences in Q3’14 that target middle market deal professionals and business owners. We are particularly excited about our inaugural conference, Axial Concord. These gatherings help facilitate deals all around the United States and Canada.

As we have previously discussed, conferences can be an excellent way to boost your offline business development efforts and increase visibility of opportunities. July 8 – Axial Summer Summit East, New York, NY

How better to return from the 4th of July weekend than with some business development at Axial’s Summer Summit East in NYC? Over cocktails on the rooftop at Catch, Members will connect around industry verticals and opportunities represented by sponsor investment banks. July 21-23 – Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum, Newport, RI

July 22 – Axial Summer Summit Midwest, Chicago, IL

July 22-24 – AM&AA Summer Conference, Chicago, IL

AM&AA is hosting their annual summer conference in Chicago. The theme of the event is “Evolve: Capturing Opportunities in Today’s Market” and  is expected to attract 500+ deal professionals from all around the world. Located at JW Marriott Chicago, the three-day event is expected to offer some excellent face-to-face meetings.


September 8-9 – Great Lakes ACG Capital Connection, Columbus, OH

After a quiet August, ACG is hosting a conference in Columbus, Ohio for neighbors of the Great Lakes. In addition to the standard DealSource and Capital Connection, the event includes a variety of panels on buying and valuing a mid-market business. September 15 – GLHC Conference, Milwaukee, WI

On September 15, ACG Wisconsin is hosting its annual Growth, Leadership and Human Capital (GLHC) conference in Milwaukee. The conference is designed, “for anyone who is interested in learning market leading strategies on how to recruit talent, and develop leadership within their organizations and drive corporate growth.” Rita McGrath will provide the keynote address.


September 15-16 – Family Office Endowment Forum, Vancouver, BC

If you are looking to break into the international conference circuit, Opal Financial Group is hosting a family office and endowment forum in Vancouver, Canada. The event is specifically tailored to Canadian investors looking to expand their investments internationally, making it an ideal opportunity to forge international relationships.


September 15-17 – ACG LA Business Conference, Beverly Hills, CA

September 23-24 – ACG 2nd Annual Deal Crawl, Charlotte, NC
