SproutCo is holding company looking to get a foothold in the Machining sector (CNC Machining, Fabrication, Engineering, Construction, and Manufacturing) serving the Mining Industry in Northern Ontario. We have a 40 year history in the region through a previous company W.Auge Mechanical Contracting Ltd serving all industries including forestry, steel, and in particular Mining. This family enterprise (now closed) was the primary contractor involved in building mines (INCO now VALE), pulp and paper mills (DOMTAR), steel plants (Algoma Steel), and many more clients throughout the North. From this family enterprise's 2nd generation has come 4 engineers, 2 middle market CEOs, machinists, millwrights, welders and business owners, and myself being a retired Bank President. My primary goal is to build our family legacy in the above industry to get ahead of the Huge wave of mining investments slated for The Ring of Fire Mining Development on the James Bay coast which will eventually become the largest supplier of resource metals supplying the Battery, and Solar sectors in the Western World. This is a BIG idea that could result in partnerships and equity in more than 100 mines throughout the north. Both provincial and federal governments have agreed to build a multi billion dollar road to access the James Bay coast. Therefore, building a large company to serve this opportunity can be transformational for the North American economy.
