Founded in 2003, Ruppert is a top-ten provider of commercial landscape services to thousands of customers across the eastern and southern United States. With a long and uninterrupted history of organic growth and a workforce of over 2,000 employees, Ruppert's unique culture and track record of success has positioned it for continued expansion, hiring, and acquisitions. Ruppert is led by Founder Craig Ruppert and CEO Phil Key, each of whom have been with the business for more than 20 years. Over that time, Ruppert has grown to 37 branches and over $330 million in annual sales. In 2022, Ruppert partnered with Knox Lane, a San Francisco-based middle-market investment firm with a history of investing in market-leading services companies. With Knox Lane’s backing and capital, Ruppert has begun to accelerate its growth, including through strategic mergers and acquisitions.
