RER Hydro Inc. is a leader in hydrokinetic zero emissions power generation via large scale river turbines. Their turbines have the highest true output of electricity and are the industry’s most reliable, with minimal to no environmental impact. The technology is a true disrupter in the renewable energy space. RER and Boeing Industries have a 25 year contract for exclusive distribution and maintenance. Boeing President & COO Dennis Muilenberg stated, "RER has the best hydrokinetic technology in the world." The company's investment in turbine development was $55 million, but due to a contractual fall-through from its backer, the Government of Quebec, the company is seeking new backing of $2,000,000 paying 12% per annum (potentially divisible into increments of $500,000) to re-secure its assets. Long term investors for over $10 million are already negotiating term sheets to take future equity. The company was valued at $95-$110 million before the political ramifications, and long term potential is tremendous. Since 2008, RER Hydro has successfully developed in its research centre in Montreal the river-adapted TREK (Kinetic Energy Recovery Turbine).
