CEO and Owner of QPS, a multi-faceted retail, behavioral health, long-term care and specialty pharmacy serving 15 client organizations including mental health centers, community agencies serving developmentally disabled individuals, group homes, rehab facilities and alternative care settings. After attracting multiple acquisition offers, QPS was sold to Genoa Healthcare, retaining key leadership.
• Developed, built, and operated pharmacy from start-up to generate $6 million in revenue annually. • Established and maintained a strong customer base of 15 community centers totaling approximately 1500 high-value individual clients. • Acquired and maintained contracts with some of the largest mental health facilities in the state by providing exceptional customer service, developing innovative services to meet facility needs, and forming long-lasting, solid relationships with facility staff. • Implemented exceptionally efficient processes within the pharmacy, increasing productivity and efficiency by at least 30%. Utilized valuable relationships with key vendors to constantly improve and streamline pharmacy systems. • Controlled all aspects of financial performance, operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, quality improvement and client/vendor relationships. • As the result of its strong reputation, financial performance and customer loyalty, QPS became the target of multiple acquisition offers and sold to Genoa Healthcare in 2014. • Encouraged to stay with Genoa as Director of Operations with an additional 2-year contract in order to assist with Genoa’s growth and expansion into new territories.
