Planetree Partners is a private investment firm focused on acquiring small to medium sized businesses with exceptional growth potential. At Planetree, we measure impact differently and believe in a wholistic approach to valuation. Small businesses are one of the greatest levers available to broaden access to wellbeing across the economic spectrum.
Our founders, Jon Rapaport and Eli Kraicer, have extensive experience in both an operational and an investment capacity. Eli has spent a decade investing in manufacturing, industrial, and energy companies through public markets. Jon began his career in commodities at Goldman Sachs, investing in the energy space starting with coal mining but has shifted to focus on sustainability over the last several years. Jon has been on both sides of the table as an investor and entrepreneur having worked as CFO for a healthcare tech company and ran operations for a global home cleaning business.
Between the two of them, Eli and Jon have 2 decades of experience both investing and operating businesses as well as working together on various projects. Planetree Partners represents the natural evolution of their partnership into an investment company with strong values and a commitment to trust, hard work, and engineering better outcomes for America's small businesses.
