I’m Michael Sgandurra, and I’m actively looking to acquire businesses that I can grow, stabilize, and steward into the next chapter. Over the past decade I’ve built a career grounded in operations excellence, leadership, project management, and strategic execution, and I bring that same discipline and integrity to the way I approach acquisitions.
Before pursuing entrepreneurial and investment avenues, I spent 12+ years leading operations and continuous improvement initiatives at companies like Tesla and Cargill—roles where I was accountable for end-to-end manufacturing operations, safety (EH&S / OSHA), quality assurance, and team leadership across complex, high-stakes environments. I’ve learned how to rapidly diagnose operational inefficiencies, implement structured process improvements, and deliver measurable results. At Tesla, I began the Machine Learning Vision department which now has over 200 automated vision inspections across Gigafactory Nevada.
Beyond corporate operations, I have a wide swath of experience in Real Estate. I personally invested in and successfully executed real estate rehabilitation projects of Buy and Hold properties as well as Flips. Additionally, I founded and manage the fastest growing Short Term Rental cohosting management company in the Reno/Tahoe market.
