Headwaters E&P LLC (Headwaters) is a private exploration and production company focused on acquisition and re-development of prematurely abandoned oil and gas properties primarily in the Northern Rockies. The Headwaters Management and Science team possess a wealth of experience and proven success. Their collective experience includes numerous oil and gas discoveries, managed projects for independent and major oil and gas companies, acquisitions, and evaluation of producing assets for enhanced recovery. Headwaters management was selected to provide the right mix of knowledge and experience to develop and optimize conventional oil and gas assets while continuously building new opportunity.
Headwaters is focusing on acquiring targeted assets with solid production history and strong remaining behind pipe potential. We are also supplementing our upside evaluations with identified previously produced fields that were prematurely abandoned during the last drop in oil price and moving to acquire others that are in danger of being abandoned by operators that just do not have the resources to take care of them. Finally, we have identified other operators in these core areas that do not maintain the technical staff necessary to effectively exploit these types of opportunities. As such they represent growth potential.
