We are a husband-and-wife team actively seeking to acquire a well-established, B2B business. Our preference is for companies based in Illinois, though we’re also open to opportunities across the Midwest and beyond if the fit is right. We’re looking for businesses with $700K or more in SDE, ideally in industries such as commercial construction and the skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), light manufacturing, logistics, IT, or business services.
I currently work in consulting, with a background in commercial banking and Big 4 advisory. My experience spans financial analysis, operations, and strategy - skills I plan to bring directly into the day-to-day operations of a business. My wife works in academia and brings a thoughtful, analytical approach and strong leadership skills. Together, we’re interested in long-term ownership and committed to growing and strengthening the right company.
We plan to finance the acquisition using a mix of personal equity and debt, including SBA or conventional financing. We’re looking for a business with a strong foundation and the potential to grow, and we’re ready to move quickly for the right opportunity.
