A direct coal liquefaction technology and MSW/Biomass liquefaction technology are developed in a Department of Energy funded program. The combination of special catalyst and efficient reactor system will allow economic production of clean liquid fuels from coal, MSW, Biomass and other low-volatile hydrocarbons at low cost.
New ideas/concepts generated internally are developed up to bench scale process stage after which Energy Catalysis, Inc. solicits the participation of strategic partners to facilitate scale-up and commercialization.
Through research and development of internally and externally generated concepts, Energy Catalysis, Inc. develops catalysts and technologies to produce clean fuels and chemicals. The current technology is focused on processing low-volatile hydrocarbons to clean liquid fuels.
