Ener.co is a privately held clean tech company, created in New York City by a group of hard working individuals with backgrounds in HVAC/R, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, commercial real estate, financial services, marketing and capital markets.
The flagship coating technology is a simple yet cutting edge approach to a costly HVAC & Heat Exchanger problem, the concept originating in western Europe with historically higher energy costs than the US.
Under the auspices of a NYSERDA approved engineering partner firm Viridian Energy & Environmental, Ener.co demonstrates and verifies significant increase in energy efficiency and reduction of the operating and total ownership costs of air-cooled installations for municipal and commercial and large scale residential real estate owners, industrial, oil and gas and power plants.
Ener.co has the backing of New York private equity firm SPK Partners as well as first round private investors with whom in 2010 it completed a $1,200,000 first round financing. A second $750,000 round was completed in Q3 2012. This completed Research Development Testing and evaluation and is in the commercialization stage. Company received founder investment of $578,000 in 2014.
Ener.co has conducted successful sponsored energy efficiency demonstrations of its patent pending technology in New York City. The installations at New York Blood Center and a dominant New York real estate owners properties were programmed and outfitted for these demonstrations. The efficiency increases reports are Professional Engineer certified proving its value to large scale portfolio implementation.
Through its partnership with Enertiv, a New York based energy efficiency performance monitoring company. All HVAC efficiency projects come with cloud based real-time performance monitoring on advanced customer dashboards easily configured with any BMS.
