Ben is a Consultant at Bain & Company in Boston, where he advises Fortune 1,000 clients on growth and investment strategy. Prior to Bain, Ben began his career in investment management at Putnam Investments, where he conducted credit and equity research, investing in dozens of public and private companies across multiple sectors, including restaurants and hospitality. He later served as a Portfolio Manager at the Trust Company of Vermont, managing $200 million in assets and overseeing the firms public investments as part of a concentrated equity strategy that consistently outperformed the S&P 500.
In addition to his work as a consultant and investor, Ben is an entrepreneur, having co-founded Adenium Holdings, a real estate investment and development firm that has acquired and renovated more than 150 apartment units across New England while employing up to a dozen people.
Ben earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he earned a merit-based full scholarship, and graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a degree in Quantitative Economics. Ben was also captain of the Men’s Basketball team at Tufts. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and serves on the advisory board of LadderUp Housing. Ben lives in Boston with his wife Sarah, and daughter Charlotte.
