I have spent my ~20 year career working with companies to improve themselves - be that grow when sales have stagnated or find ways to improve efficiency or learn how to incorporate new technology (especially AI/Advanced analytics) in a way that benefits the company and the employees.
I am looking to make a pivot in my career and move from advisor to owner/operator. My focus is on Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding environs. I want to spend the next stage of my life building upon someone's legacy. To that end I plan to keep the company name and do justice to what came before I become involved.
This will be a long term hold for me (25+ years) with decisions focused on creating long term value. In my ideal world I would get back to my engineering roots and buy a company doing small parts manufacturing for one of the three main industries in Jacksonville (hospitals, logistics, military). Given my geography and size goals though I am taking a broad view on industry. I am a naturally curious person and love learning about new businesses and people. My only requirement is the business creates a good or service which adds value to another business/person.
