Camden Park was formed to acquire and operate one small business for the long term. Our founder, Matt, offers business owners an opportunity to step back from day-to-day operations, secure their legacy, and ensure their business is in capable hands.
Reading Moneyball as a teenager opened Matt's eyes to the potential for data and technology to help underdogs win. As he started my career, he looked to bring this insight to life, spending nearly a decade helping scale software products at Google and as a strategy consultant at McKinsey. Through these experiences, he became convinced that one of the greatest opportunities we face as a nation is to use technology to revitalize the core of the American economy.
Camden Park is not the typical investor. It is an individual (Matt) who is solely focused on the long-term growth of the company he acquires - not making quick fixes or extracting short-term gains. Matt believes in taking a patient approach and investing the resources needed to create long-term success and stability.
