BCG was established in 2024 as a single-family office supporting Todd Brock. We invest in a variety of asset classes and structures, but we are largely focused on buyout or growth capital in the lower and middle-market space. We believe we can drive significant value and provide operational and strategic support as we are experienced operators, having started, operated, grown, and sold successful companies representing thousands of employees. In addition to capital and operational support, we have a proven ability to enhance value through our extensive relationship network. Our loose deal parameters are as follows:
Strategy: buyouts (cash flowing businesses) and growth capital while also considering seed capital and greenfield opportunities
Structuring: prefermajority but can also do minority investments through common and preferred equity (can be lead or co-invest)
Industries: industrials, business services, manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, consumer, entertainment, real estate, etc. We are pretty industry agnostic but don’t do oil and gas.
Financial Profile: preferably revenue generating and cash flowing; not very interested in distressed investments.
EBITDA Target: $1-$10MM (can flex up depending on situation)
Exit Timing: traditional shorter-term hold (3-7 years) but depends on the situation.
Partnership Dynamics: we prefer to be active investors and truly partner with the management team; passive investments are okay depending on the situation.
Check Size: $1-$15MM per transaction, with the ability to invest more in unique opportunities.
