I founded Bays Mountain Capital with the goal of acquiring a single small business to lead and operate for the rest of my career. Raised from humble beginnings in East Tennessee, I grew up in a family that preached values including service to country, hard work, and honesty. In 2022 I married my best friend, Cat, with whom I hope to raise a family with the same shared values.
After graduating from college, I served as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army for 5 years. In the Army, I led teams ranging from 20-120 soldiers and civilians, both in the US and deployed overseas. What I enjoyed most about my military service was the ability to have an impact on my teammates and their families, who in turn, impacted me greatly as well. I attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where I received a Bachelor of Science in Management and the University of Michigan where I received a Master of Business Administration.
