AKHIRE is a private Alaskan company based in Juneau, Alaska. We are not a franchised unit connected to a lower 49 agency. All of our managers, staff and shareholders are Alaskans.
Like Alaska, AKHIRE's history is unique. The concept for AKHIRE was created and developed in the winter of 2004 on a napkin during an Alaskan snow storm by three close friends while sitting at the Hanger in Juneau, Alaska.
Since that snowy day AKHIRE has successfully placed well over 1,400 Alaskans at 190 of Alaska's top businesses.
We are rather proud of the fact that AKHIRE is a home grow business success. Part of what made AKHIRE a success was our firsthand understanding of what makes Alaska special, and at times a difficult place to find and hire employees.
