Unity Investment Partners, LLC, based in Los Angeles, CA, is a differentiated financial services provider specializing in connecting ultra-high net worth family investors with private middle market investment opportunities. The management team has over 40 years of experience as operator, principal, lender, and family office, with over 25 years of experience with family office direct investing. Unity was formed by Ken Kilroy, Daniel Chan, and Ross Kilroy to marry the relationship networks, family office perspective (Ken as head of the family office for Marvin Davis for 24 years and founder of Trailhead Advisors, Inc.), and institutional experience and discipline (Ross and Daniel as advisors and principals) that the team has built over their careers. Unity was established in 2013, as many of the family office clients of Trailhead, a provider of customized family office consulting services, became involved with direct investing and were looking to Mr. Kilroy facilitate access to proprietary investment opportunities. Today, Unity facilitates access to such opportunities for over 40 billionaire single family offices. Unity focuses on facilitating minority/majority direct equity investments that are otherwise not on the market, and to which families otherwise do not have access. These investment opportunities are typically between $100-$500 million enterprise values, and have (i) strong management teams, (ii) a track record of stable cash flow generation, and (iii) defensible market positions in mature industries, serving resilient / predictable end-market demand. Industry coverage includes agriculture, consumer, services/logistics, industrials, healthcare, financial, information technology, and operating property.
