Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is the leading full-service trailer leasing business with ~85,000 trailers and ~50 locations across the US and Canada. TEN employs nearly 1,000 employees, including 350+ mechanics who perform M&R services on our own trailers, customer-owned trailers, etc. from ~250 service bays and 100+ mobile service trucks.
TEN is the unified brand name of legacy trailer lessors (Star Leasing, Commercial Trailer Leasing (CTL); NETS Trailer Leasing, Cooling Concepts; TIP Canada; and Boston Trailer) who have integrated into one company.
TEN is seeking to continue expanding throughout the US and Canada, particularly in the central and western US given our existing footprint. We are actively interested in finding like-minded trailer leasing/rental and trailer M&R companies that are looking to sell.
Background on Jonathan Anderson: I am currently working in corporate development at Transportation Equipment Network (TEN), which is owned by I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure fund. At TEN, I mainly focus on Acquisitions, Integration, and Strategy (organic growth, new product lines, potential partnerships, pricing strategy, etc.)
Before TEN, I was with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company (NYSE: SMG) where I focused on M&A, Integration, and Strategy within each of the company’s strategic business units (ScottsMiracle-Gro, Hawthorne Gardening Co, 1868 Ventures, and possible joint ventures)
I began my career as an investment banker at Copper Run, a middle market M&A advisory firm. During my time there, I assisted in buy-side and sell-side advisory services to privately-owned companies, private equity firms, family offices, and publicly-traded companies.
