Seven Seas Capital (“SSC”) is a partnership of experienced small business entrepreneurs and investors designed to help business owners who would like to take some ‘chips off the table’ and participate in the future growth of their company or transition out completely and unlock the equity tied up in the company. We are based in Atlanta, GA and invest in companies across North America.
The team at SSC has launched products & services that collectively amount to over $500M in annual revenue, saved hundreds of millions in expenses and invested in dozens of businesses ranging between $5M to $100M in revenue. Our investors are primarily family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and private investment funds with 200+ years of management experience and a track record of long-term investments. In addition to capital, we have expertise in Corporate Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Strategy. For our next investment, Samir Siddiqui, Managing Partner, will take on an active role as full-time CEO and partner with the existing management team through a sensible transition. Our goal is to do this while preserving the company’s culture, developing the staff, and pursuing sustainable growth.
Leadership
Samir Siddiqui serves as the Managing Partner of Seven Seas Capital (“SSC”). He founded SSC to preserve the legacy of one founder and transition their business to make himself the full-time operator while offering the retiring owner the upside of the next chapter.
Samir started his career working across power plants in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi while studying electrical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He advanced his career by working at large public corporations (i.e. Southern Company, GE) and SMBs (i.e. PowerPlan, Urjanet) within the utilities, industrial and software sectors. He also spent over 5-years as a management consultant at PwC, advising Fortune 500 clients on M&A integration, growth strategy and operations transformation. Samir received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as well as a M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech.
