In mid-2013, the previous owners of Service Welding & Machine Company, Earl Greer and Carl Greer transitioned the leadership and ownership of the company to a new management team. The new team, consisting of Jeff Androla (President), Doug Voet (CFO), and Jim St. Clair (a principal), has 60+ years of combined experience in manufacturing. “We are excited to continue the same level of service and quality products that the company has been committed to since its founding in 1928, and we are exploring new opportunities to expand and grow with our existing customers and new customers,” expressed Jeff Androla on behalf of the management team. As part of their plan to position the company for future growth and success, the team worked with a local firm to develop new branding, including a new logo and positioning line, to represent the many facets and competitive advantages of the company. The company name “Service Tanks,” which is how many customers have referred to the company in the recent past, will be the name used on all marketing materials. "Service is at the core of our business, and what we are about, so it makes sense to focus on promoting the name Service Tanks in all of our marketing," explained Jeff Androla. "This new website was developed, and will continue to be expanded with content and functionality to support our efforts to provide the best service and timely information to customers." It is an exciting new chapter in the long and successful history of one of the leading manufacturers of steel tanks in the Midwest. The new management team would like to express their appreciation for the support of the company’s valued employees, customers and vendors as they work to build on what has been a legacy of quality and service.
