Ronald O. Harper, Jr. is the Managing Partner of RMS Family Restaurants, LLC. where he owned and operated McDonald’s four restaurants in Memphis, Tennessee. RMS was built on a family-oriented philosophy that fosters employee development and growth while ensuring that every guest enjoys an excellent dining experience.
Before founding RMS, Mr. Harper held senior leadership roles at prominent companies. As Global Business Lead at Capgemini, he focused on mergers and acquisitions within the Life Sciences sector. He also held senior leadership roles at Ensono and Xerox. At Ensono where he directed strategic marketing programs and client engagement initiatives for the outsourcing division. At Xerox, as Vice President, he managed business development strategies and solution goals across the Central region. Additionally, Mr. Harper founded AKG Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm that helped clients implement structured, predictable methods to drive business results and organizational performance.
Beyond his professional career, Mr. Harper is deeply engaged in philanthropy and community leadership. He served on the board of Henry Booth House, a Chicago-based social services agency, and was past the President of Naperville Country Club.
Mr. Harper is also a frequent speaker on client relationship management, customer retention, and strategic selling. He attended Benedictine University and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management SBOC program.
He resides in Illinois with his wife Lela Johnson, a retired Assistant United States Attorney.
