Founded in 2019 by Richard Lewis, and with the backing of the Union Main Group, Redwood is actively investing in ‘mission critical’ home services companies, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, tree service and lawn control.
Redwood’s mission is to support its local partners with shared resources, access to capital and best-in-class operating systems and processes – all designed to drive long-term, profitable growth.

Our Team
Having the right partners is everything. Redwood Services was founded by Richard Lewis, a veteran of the home services space, and with the backing of the Union Main Group.
Prior to forming Redwood, Richard held a variety of operating and leadership roles at The ServiceMaster Company, working with some of the world’s most iconic and successful home service brands, including Terminix (pest control), TruGreen (lawn care), Merry Maids (residential cleaning), ServiceMaster Restore (disaster restoration), ServiceMaster Clean (janitorial), Furniture Medic (furniture and cabinet repair), TruGreen Landcare (commercial landscaping), and American Home Shield (home warranties). From strategy to operations, sales & marketing to finance, people leadership to execution, Redwood brings experience empowering local partners.
Prior to ServiceMaster, Richard began his career on Wall Street as an Analyst at Bear Stearns. Richard has an MBA from Emory University and earned his B.A., summa cum laude, in Business from Yeshiva University – where he was also a 4-year NCAA athlete.
Redwood is backed by Union Main Group – a Memphis-based investment holding company owned by Adam Hanover, William Conway, Jr. and Marc Hanover. “We are excited about the opportunity to invest behind Richard and his vision for this Home Services platform” said Adam Hanover, Chief Executive Officer of Union Main Group. “As a Holding Company, Union Main has the ability to smartly and patiently support Richard in acquiring the right assets at the right time and building for success over the long-term.”
