My objective is to acquire a company in the Northeast ($1-3M EBITDA), and to take on day-to-day management of the company’s operations. I am looking for an owner who is considering retirement or otherwise stepping back from the business and needs.
I am backed by investors from the consulting and private equity world, and have a background as a senior management consultant (Principal at the Boston Consulting Group), corporate development, and private equity, and have led and advised on dozens of M&A transactions.
Target company criteria:
$3M+ Revenue, $1-3M EBITDA - healthy business
Preference for recurring revenue / high client retention, and low concentration
Industry agnostic - preference for 'asset-lite' people-based businesses or high-margin light manufacturing
Located in New England, eastern New York, or ability to be run remotely
Select examples of my experience:
Leading full transaction processes and post-merger integration planning - e.g., led acquisition of a consulting / design / technology company that paid back purchase price in <2.5 years
Setting strategy and running the day-to-day of a technology-enabled people-based services business
Leading large teams of managers and individual contributors (up to 10+ direct reports and extended pyramids of 50+)
Advising private equity investors on investment in companies in a variety of industries, ranging from technology / software companies to insurance marketing to medical device manufacturing
Driving operational improvement on a variety of site-level and above-site topics (e.g., trucking logistics, direct mailing operational efficiency)
Process improvement: E.g., Designing a Procure2Pay process for a major public company in office services and business hardware; evaluating near-shoring opportunities for the customer service organization of a financial services; redesigning support functions for a Fortune 100 tech company
