I am beginning the process of looking at businesses to purchase. My family is well capitalized from the real estate and construction industry in North Carolina and my wife's family is well capitalized from the manufacturing and horse racing businesses in Kentucky. I spent 2 years working in private equity real estate acquisitions and have spent the past 6 years operating a construction business unit within my family's construction business in Charlotte, NC. My brother will be one of my operating partners, as well as a friend who works in real estate development in Roanoke, VA. We are interested in automotive and transportation businesses in VA, KY, NC, SC, GA, and OH.
