We evaluate opportunities across all industries and company types to identify investment companies that have a consistent record of profitability, built by teams that are leaders in their industry, and supported by products or services that have a proven need and reliable customer base. Due to our ties to our other operating companies (The ICO Companies, Utah's largest apartment developer, and Ivory Homes, Utah’s largest single-family home builder), we have a unique view on the importance of people and culture in building winning teams that drive superior investment outcomes.
The mission of ICO Capital is to make long term investments in non-real estate assets. Our flexible mandate enables us to look at opportunities that may not make sense for other private investment firms. Where many firms focus only on one type of company or situation, ICO Capital creates conservatively structured transactions that seek to maximize alignment with investment companies and enable business operators and entrepreneurs to feel comfortable taking the risks necessary to take their businesses to the next level.
