Gavin Dreyer is a 20+ year enterprise software sales leader with successful experiences at firms such as SAP, SuccessFactors and Qualtrics. He's looking to leverage his selling and business development expertise in buying or taking partial / majority ownership of an 'old economy' business.
Gavin is specifically looking for: "old economy" broadly defined as something he can 'explain to his mother-in-law in less than a minute'. Ironically, after years of selling tech, he does not want a tech-centric business. Said another way, he needs to understand the business model and not have it dependent on 'bits and bytes'. Ideally, there's stable cash flow via a recurring revenue model with a diversified client base.
Gavin lives in Weston and does not plan to move. Ideally, the seller(s) are at retirement age with no succession plan and the business is solid but could use an infusion of salesmanship/biz dev. From a valuation standpoint, him and his partner are looking for a business that has an SDE of a minimum of $500,000.
