Dropoff was founded in 2014 in Austin, Texas to fill a void in the same-day, local courier space. While there were many small courier companies in the area, none offered the level of technology, reliability or professionalism businesses needed to meet their customer expectations. With a mission to do more than deliver items but to help companies run their operations more smoothly with custom logistics, Dropoff is raising the bar.
We built our own technology platform from the ground up, enabling customers to place orders electronically, track the details of their deliveries in real-time, and view delivery performance data. Our API allows companies to seamlessly integrate delivery into their online ordering system and our custom-built app enables companies to manage their own staff on our platform. But technology was just the beginning.
Knowing that our drivers would be the face of our clients’ companies, we established a strict vetting and training process to ensure our drivers have what it takes to professionally represent each customer. We invested in a fleet of cars and vans, equipped them with GPS tracking, and marked them with our logos. We hired experienced staff to partner with clients to design custom logistics programs and provide superior, local customer service 24/7.
All of our efforts have paid off. Since our inception, Dropoff has dominated the same-day delivery space in multiple verticals, including healthcare, industrial, food and grocery, retail and business services. The demand for our premium service has us continually expanding into new markets, with a presence in 43 cities currently and more added every month.
