Founded in 1997, and headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Doozer Software is a custom software and IT staffing business.
We help our customers get software done by providing whatever they need, whether staffing to fill a temporary or permanent need or complete, full life cycle outsourced software development services, and anything in between.
Our primary customers are large enterprises, who entrust us with delivering solutions to their important initiatives that drive profits, reduce costs and, in short, help them make more money. Repeat and referential business has been the hallmark of our success. In addition to mid-size companies, we work with most of the large corporations that have a presence in or around Birmingham, Alabama.

In addition to serving our customers, we have created world class original software.
One of our products is a remote medical coding platform that allows clinical coding for hospitals to be done securely and remotely by credentialed medical coders that, often, work from their homes. This technology powers the work at HIM Connections, LLC, which is another business that was started by Doozer Software in which we continue to hold a majority interest.
HIM Connections provides services to the Health Information Management market in much the same way that Doozer Software provides services to the IT market. They provide both staffing and outsourced services for hospitals, nationwide. Another Doozer Software product is Mittix, which is a project management tool founded on the M&A due diligence use case. This software-as-a-service provides task and document management features that allow teams to securely and efficiently collaborate to complete complex projects that involve tasks to be done by a variety of stakeholders. While general in nature, the M&A use case is uniquely suited to serial acquirers, who repeat due diligence on multiple similar acquisition targets. Mittix, however, provides features that can be equally useful for compliance assessments, test cases, or any list of tasks that need follow-up documentation and authoritative sign-off.
