John Edward has spent the last 10 years working in roles of increasing responsibility at private equity backed ventures. He has experience across the board in accounting, treasury, M&A, finance, commercial, business development. He most recently served on the leadership team at Cureton Midstream, backed by Tailwater Capital, where he led the BD and commercial teams and oversaw ~$100MM of closed acquisitions as well as the ultimate sale to Williams in December of 2023 for ~$550MM. Prior to Cureton he spent 5 years at EagleClaw Midstream where he participated in tremendous growth of $12MM of EBITDA to over $220MM of EBITDA and was the lead analyst during the $2Bn sales process to Blackstone. He lived in both Midland and Houston and reported directly to the CEO where he worked closely with Blackstone on more than $2Bn of closed M&A transactions. Prior to working in the oil and gas space, John Edward served as a CPA at PriceWaterHouseCoopers for 2 years in their assurance / advisory group. He received his BBA and MS degrees in accounting from Ole Miss. John Edward, through an investment partnership, has also personally led and deployed over $1,000,000 of investments into small businesses and various real-estate ventures, including self-funded search deals.
