This is a fundless sponsor / independent sponsor. We are targeting profitable businesses that could form the platform business of a bolt on accretive acquisition strategy. We are a newly formed entity. I have experience delivering LOIs and have relationships with the investment banking and financing community, in addition to legal counsel relationships that could paper a transaction. We have colleagues and personal relationships that have deep experience in private equity and search funds. My partner has worked in the consumer space in e-commerce retail, as well as in large, global manufacturing. He has management consulting experience (Bain). My partner and I were classmates in business school, and I have been a senior corporate development / M&A professional for 9 years, with prior experience as a institutional buyside analyst, both at a 2 billion hedge fund subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, and then at a $20 billion asset manager. I have venture capital and also strategy management consulting experience (Parthenon).
