As a fully standalone radar, LightWave’s low unit cost and low radiated power enables more radar sensors to be deployed in a given geographic area, creating a distributed surveillance network that achieves significantly higher quality, 4-dimensional surveillance coverage at a lower cost than competing radars. LightWave technology excels in applications such as Border and Critical Infrastructure Surveillance, Wind Turbine Interference Mitigation, UAV Surveillance, Radar Service Life Extensions, Military SLEP Programs, and the recently announced, cross-agency, Spectrum Efficient National Surveillance Radar (SENSR) program that is intended to provide coast-to-coast US surveillance to a variety of agencies.
