I joined and bought into a family metal roofing manufacturing business with a 10 year plan to scale to a certain point for an exit. After 8 years we had grown from $9m in sales to almost $40m and sold the company in March 2025 to a public strategic. We grew though 4 acquisitions along the way - this was my main role. I'm looking for a business in North Carolina or South Carolina, but preferably in the Charlotte, NC area. I'm looking for a minimum of $1m in EBITDA/SDE, up to $3m in EBITDA/SDE. My experience is in manufacturing/distribution, which would be my first choice, but I am willing to look at other industries.
