I’m a Cincinnati–Dayton–based buyer (West Chester) seeking to acquire and operate a single, well-run small business in the region. Local ownership matters to me—both for hands-on involvement and long-term continuity for employees and customers.
Size & Economics
I’m targeting businesses with normalized annual cash flow of approximately $500K–$2M. This range is large enough to justify the risk and responsibility of ownership while remaining manageable for a first acquisition and long-term operator transition.
Industry Focus
I’m intentionally flexible on industry to avoid over-constraining the search. That said, my background is in manufacturing, supply chain, and B2B services, and businesses adjacent to those areas are a natural fit. I’m most interested in companies where operational discipline, technical understanding, and commercial execution matter more than hype or rapid scaling.
Business Characteristics
I prioritize durability over flash. Ideal businesses share the following traits:
Multi-year track record of consistent profitability
Recurring or repeat B2B customers
Reasonable customer and revenue concentration
Essential products or services with defensible demand
Proven ability to perform through normal economic cycles
Candidly, I’m drawn to stable, non-sexy businesses that do important work well and generate reliable cash flow.
Value I Bring
My experience spans both the technical and commercial sides of industrial and service businesses—product and process engineering, operations, pricing, analytics, customer economics, and growth strategy. I’m comfortable getting deep into how a business actually works and partnering with teams to strengthen what’s already there, not reinvent it.
