Since 1985 Bell Foods has provided some of the highest quality proteins to the New Orleans Metro areas. With dreams of expansion two childhood friends united their prospective distribution companies to expand Bell Foods menu offerings. Since that uniting in 2004 Bell Foods has had explosive growth and recently had the honor of being featured in New Orleans Magazine’s “People to Watch” for 2006 and Inc Magazines top 5000 fastest growing companies in America in 2008 with a ranking of 889th. Bell Foods is centrally located just outside of New Orleans Louisiana in the Harahan Business Park off of Jefferson Highway in Harahan Louisiana. Our facility is a USDA inspected and approved operation. Our multimillion dollar facility has been modernized and designed for a pro growth strategy. In 2009 we expanded sales to include a Full or "Broadline" of items for distribution, making us a vertically integrated cut shop as well as full line distributor. We carry thousands of items in our active inventory to meet any type of foodservice needs, selling in all customer segments including Fine Dining, Multi-Unit, Institutional, Healthcare, School, Offshore, and Contract Feeders.. Our plant houses all company operations in one location. This affords Bell Foods to have direct access from the sales to warehousing to shipping to better enhance the customer service process.
