Founded in 1992, ADEC Private Equity is a family investment vehicle which invests principally in a wide variety of private equity investments including direct investments in private companies and also third party sponsored private equity fund commitments. Since inception, ADEC Private Equity has made in excess of 100 investments in both private companies and in third party sponsored private equity funds, both spanning multiple industries. In terms of direct investments in private companies, ADEC Private Equity is particularly looking to make investments in small privately owned businesses that require growth capital and/or ownership wants to take money off the table. An area of particular interest is a platform that is well positioned to grow through acquisitions of similar and similarly sized companies in fragmented industries in a roll-up strategy.
