A few days ago, our CEO Peter Lehrman gave a presentation about how growing networks are changing deal sourcing in the private capital markets. In the video Peter discusses the evolution of the web from early messaging through consumer e-commerce transactions and then to recent commercial transactions on networks like Loopnet, Linkedin and Axial.
He then dives into how networks are becoming more and more specialized, leading to better connections and more relevant business relationships. Ultimately he asks the question, should you mold yourself like Stuffy Steve or if you should you become like Harry the Hub?
