Woodside's particular expertise rests in turnaround situations that include the refinancing or payoff of a senior secured lender at a discount. The Woodside team has significant experience in developing creative deal structures to maximize the return to stakeholders in challenging situations. Woodside also manages criticized loan portfolios for third party investors and financial institutions. Post acquisition, the Woodside team can help drive long-term value by providing the financial, strategic, operational and governance support that our management teams require to make their businesses successful. With a stable capital base and over 20 years of experience managing investments in challenged companies, Woodside has the resources to provide additional capital if required by its portfolio investments.
Investment Type — Debt and private equity investments in micro-cap, middle market companies with annualized revenues between $15 million and $150 million. Deal Size — $2 Million to $20 Million of debt or equity in individual transactions. Woodside also purchases pools of distressed sole-lender or syndicated loans. Industry Focus — While we will consider investments in many industries, Woodside typically targets manufacturing, media, distribution, and service companies. Woodside's primary focus is on commercial and industrial companies and Woodside generally will not pursue real estate or short product life-cycle driven ventures.
