Melanie possesses over 30 years of aggregate business experience, with over 20 years in mergers and acquisition in the IT, professional and human capital services space. She has not only established M&A practices for three firms, but has established and run her own company as well . She has been involved in the consummation of over 50 transactions with an aggregate value of over $700MM and has consulted on many more. Her past experience includes treasury management for a $200MM multinational, NASDAQ-listed, IT product and services company, the establishment of an IT lending practice for one of the world’s largest international banks, and participation in the formation of a Project Finance group for another of the world’s largest international banks. She has spoken at many of her industry’s leading conferences has been quoted in such publications as The Atlanta Business Journal, The Houston Business Journal, The Wall Street Reporter, The Daily Deal, ComputerWire, Corporate Financing Week, Consulting Wire, and has been featured on CNN Financial News and Bloomberg News.
She holds both a BBA and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
