Doug Zucker
Doug has over 25 years of operating and advisory experience, helping companies scale through various stages of growth. He’s held executive roles in business strategy, finance, marketing, and technology. Prior to Waypoint, Doug was a Partner at Sterling-Rice Group, a leading product innovation firm. Prior to SRG, he held various executive and advisory roles including CEO of an award-winning digital marketing agency, VP of Corporate Strategy for a middle market consumer products company, Principal Consultant with PwC in their Corporate and Operations Strategy group, and middle market banker focused on trade and corporate finance.
In addition to his experience with SMBs, Doug has created and implemented growth and operational strategies for some of the most iconic companies, including United Technologies, Medtronic, General Mills, General Motors, Union Pacific Railroad, Cadbury Schweppes, Diageo, PepsiCo, Purina, Computacenter, among others.
Doug received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Jim Mills
Jim has over 20 years of experience leading successful strategy and growth initiatives across multiple sectors including technology, manufacturing, CPG and business services. Prior to Waypoint, Jim held executive roles at two start-up companies including most recently the Chief Revenue Officer of Syght, an emerging security technology company where he continues to serve on the advisory board. Prior to Syght, Jim was CEO of Farmhand Organics, a pioneering food and manufacturing business that he co-founded, grew to a multi- regionally distributed brand and sold in 2018.
Jim spent earlier years of his career with agencies in San Francisco, New York and Boulder where he oversaw digital channel sales for a $250MM client portfolio and led corporate brand and product strategy engagements for category leaders including SAP/Business Objects, Citrix Systems, Coca-Cola, Nordstrom, REI, among others.
Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Business Communications from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, University of Kansas
