Upstream Energy Capital, LLC was formed in 2008 by Mr. John E. Domingue. Mr. Domingue has over 25 + years of experience in the capital markets transaction work, in the oil and gas sector both onshore and offshore. Over the past 10 years he has also been a merger and acquisition specialist, driving transactions in the oilfield middle market. Prior to his capital market experience, Mr. Domingue started and built an oilfield service company specializing in the design and manufacture of wire line equipment sold both domestically and internationally. Mr. Domingue's experience in the financial markets began in 1980 as a commercial banker. Mr. Domingue served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending with his expertise being Exploration & Production as well as oilfield service companies. His lending portfolio was in excess of $50.0 million. To date, Mr. Domingue has participated in transactions totaling more than $200 million. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1980 with a major in Marketing and Finance.
