Ultrasolar Technology also referred to as “UST” has created Quantum Boost TM (QB), the only product in the world that can genuinely increase the power output of any PV panel by 10% or more. The product is not an optimizer. The technology that enables the product is UST’s unique Pyro-electricity based technology which utilizes heat to extract more electrons from the solar cell.
The product has been successfully tested at installations in Asia and US, with testing scheduled at customer sites for Japan and Europe in early 2015. Customers are extremely excited about the test results and we are working with them to optimize the product for their specific installations and to make it more robust.
Driven by the compelling economics of our technology, the market potential is well over $30B with a CAGR of 10% – as our product works with both existing and new solar installations. UST is working on optimizing the product with a view to ship over 10,000 units in 2015. UST is currently targeting to raise $10M to $15M to support the commercial launch of its first product.
