Town Square Partnership is a Nashville-based private equity fund that acquires and stewards high-quality family businesses transitioning ownership. We are long-term holders and we approach every acquisition as a permanent home for the business, its employees, and its customers.
We use little to no debt in our acquisitions, which means simpler deal structures, faster closes, and no risk of overleveraging the business post-transaction. We are flexible on structure and happy to work with sellers on equity roll overs, transition timelines, and other arrangements that make a deal work for both sides.
We acquire majority control of U.S.-based, family-owned businesses generating $2–6M of EBITDA with 10+ years of operating history.
We are generally industry-agnostic but unlikely to invest in businesses with high CapEx needs, commodity exposure, significant real estate holdings, franchise models, or elevated risk of AI disruption.
We buy great businesses from good people at fair prices, and then compound them for decades.
