Kyle Nicholson is a local, hands-on operator looking to acquire and grow a stable, differentiated business ($2 M–$20 M revenue, $500 K–$2 M EBITDA) in the Ohio Valley and Upper South, bringing a proven record of brand revitalization, data-driven operational improvements, and a deep commitment to employees, community, and long-term stewardship.
Kyle began his career launching new products and business models at Procter & Gamble’s new-business incubator, where he built rural distribution networks in India and helped design the world’s lowest-cost washing machine for emerging markets. From there he moved to The United States Playing Card Company, modernizing the iconic Bee® casino brand and scaling Bicycle® playing cards’ e-commerce revenue from $500 K to $15 M by expanding to Amazon and building a direct-to-consumer platform. Subsequent leadership roles at Newell Brands, Microsoft, and Cummins sharpened his ability to blend strategic vision with real-time analytics: at Cummins he overhauled aftermarket warehouse operations, cutting stock-outs and excess inventory risk through improved forecasting.
Today Kyle is seeking to leverage this track record as an owner-operator rather than as a corporate executive. Backed by strong personal credit, relationships with local and national banks, and flexible financing structures, he offers sellers a straightforward, confidential alternative to private-equity buyers. His promise centers on three principles: respecting the legacy founders have built, caring for employees and community relationships, and driving long-term growth through data-driven, hands-on leadership.
In addition to business acumen, Kyle brings a values-driven approach rooted in community service. He and his wife are active foster parents and Kyle serves on the executive committee of Kentucky’s 800-member Citizen Foster Care Review Board, lending strategic and financial guidance to nonprofits that serve vulnerable children.
