Ian Hossfeld founded The Foss Mountain Company (FMC) to acquire and grow great companies. The Foss Mountain Company acquired City Wide Facility Solutions of San Diego, a building maintenance sales and management company, in 2021. FMC is interested in acquiring additional B2B service companies, with a particular interest in those within the western US.
Ian is the Managing Partner of FMC and is the CEO of City Wide Facility Solutions of San Diego. Priot to these positions, he served a variety of leadership positions within Naval Special Warfare, leading units ranging in size from 5-75 people, and varying operationally from combat to working in embassies. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Valor Device and two Combat Action Ribbons. For his undergraduate studies, Ian attended the United States Naval Academy and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Ian resides in San Diego with his wife and two young children.
