We are not a fund and no planned exit strategy. Investments are made with infinite holding periods in mind.
Acquisition capital is secured. There is no capital raising risk.
All deals structured with little leverage. We want all decisions made with the long-term health of the business as the only priority. We intend to take advantage of industry volatility.
We prefer to buy healthy businesses and then overlay a sensible growth strategy.
Each investment is structured on its own. Not looking for a portfolio of winners and losers.
Business partners that are personable and empathetic. Well suited for family-owned businesses that can be fraught with complications.
Open minded to many different transaction structures to meet the needs of sellers.
Only interested in buying controlling stakes in companies.
Managing members will have significant personal investment in any transaction.
SVCP team involvement will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The team will always have full-time attention but not always full-time involvement. We are ultimately looking to have the business run by existing management or new management if need be.
