We acquire control equity investments in established Texas-based companies in the professional services, wholesale distribution, specialized manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Our founder, Sam Hanna, founded and built a substantial land surveying and engineering businesses. He sold a majority interest in the company to private equity and established our family office.
Sam's lifetime of commercial experience provides our team with the unique capability to cultivate growth, develop and nurture employees, and safeguard the culture of founder- and family-owned businesses. We are financial buyers with patient capital and seek partnerships based on mutual respect between business owners.
Our preferred investment criteria include:
Industries: Business-to-Business & Professional Services, Wholesale Distribution, Specialized Manufacturing, Hospitality and Commercial Real Estate
Location: Headquartered in Texas with a preference for Central Texas
Financial Metrics: Minimum $1,000,000 EBITDA with enterprise value up to $50 million
Ownership & Management: Family and/or founder owned with capable management team ready to transition into leadership
Business Strategy: Capital efficient business model that can scale
We review a variety of opportunities within the lower middle market. Investments that fall outside these criteria are considered on a case-by-case basis.
