I am searching with my father. I will be the primary operator of the business and my father will serve as an advisor and help with business development. We are looking for a change of control transaction ideally in the I-85 corridor of North and South Carolina.
My experience: Undergrad UVA, MBA Duke (Fuqua). 10 years of work experience, most recently at Activision-Blizzard (Call of Duty) as a product director managing a product team and a $10M P&L.
My father's experience: Undergrad UNC, MBA UVA (Darden). 30+ years in the retail industry as a top executive of Belk, Inc. (Sold to private equity in 2015).
Ideally, we are looking for a business with a strong standing, name, and legacy that we could steward into the future.
