RNDS is an app that brings doctors and nurses together on the floor of the hospital so that they can actually see the patient together.
Through Wi-Fi router mapping technology RNDS identifies nurses on their shift that day and doctors when they arrive on the floor and puts them on a digital map overlay of the patient care area.
This sets up a situation where they now physically round with one another and discuss eye-to-eye with the patient, thereby limiting errors and improving safety and satisfaction.
No one else is doing this. Our primary customers are the nursing and physician staffs of the hospital and, indirectly, the administrative leadership.
RNDS is also a real-time patient satisfaction and patient reported outcome tool. RNDS will be a more affordable real-time tool designed for patients to respond on a daily basis, creating a data set accessible for both hospitals and third party payers. The goal of RNDS patient satisfaction tool is to provide something empowering to patients contained in the inpatient environment, in contrast to competitor's admitted major shortcomings in the outpatient setting.
We do not plan on using any unusual, expensive hardware. Nurses, Doctors, and patients will use their smartphones, in contrast to other competitors relying on expensive hardware. Our goal is to install (via already installed hospital Wi-Fi network), for a low cost to hospitals and no cost to Doctors, Nurses, and Patients.
